"Ugh! Bamboons!"- Owlette
Owlette and the Bamboon is the 36th episode of Season 16.
Summary[]
After the PJ Masks rescue a baby Bamboon, Owlette is charged with returning it to its mother before dawn.
Plot[]
The episode begins in the Fantasy Forest where Captain Barnacles, Peso, and Kwazii are seen helping the PJ Masks patrol it. All is pretty clear, aside from an impending rainstorm which Captain Jake (as Fish Boy) reports. Catboy then hears the sound of Bamboons, baboons made out of bamboo, shrieking for help! Concerned, Captain Barnacles orders Fish Boy to lead the way, and the three Octonauts and Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko run off to see what's happening. A baby Bamboon is being chased by Skeletal Dragons. They dive down, but the PJ Masks and the Octonauts step in just in time to ward them away. The adult Skeletal Dragon leader calls for his Committee to retreat, leaving the baby Bamboon safe with the gang near a river. It begins to rain, much to Catboy's chagrin. With the rain hammering down, a wave of water pushes the baby Bamboon into the river and washes him downstream. Fish Boy calls for Owlette to race after him, since the others won't be able to catch up in time.
