Hawk Moth is a mysterious masked supervillain who acts as main antagonist of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. His special superpower is akumatization, which turns the white butterflies he owns into akumas, which he sends out his lair to akumatize people, turning them into extremely aggressive, menacing, powerful supervillains by granting them a superpower in return of helping him get Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses, to make his desired wish come true. He usually only targets people with negative emotions, since it would be easier to convince them to do bad things, as well as get them under his control, as they would be weak to respond to changes to resist it.
Starting from the Season 4 premiere 'Truth', he merges the powers of his Butterfly Miraculous with the powers of the Peacock Miraculous, to become Shadow Moth with the powers of akumatization to create super villains, and amokization to create sentimonsters.
